Brushless Conversion Kit

This is the main part of my Brushless Conversion Kit for Mini RC Boats with 180 size brushed motors such as: Joysway Magic Vee, Joysway Magic Cat, Proboat Impulse 9, Proboat BlackJack 9, ACME Zoopa Thunder, Jamara Light Wave, Jamara E-Cat 54. The part provides a very easy way to mount a 12mm x 30mm brushless inrunner motors. It has the outer shape of the original 180 size motor, a hole that directly fits the 12mm BL motors and the room inbetween is used as a watercooling jacket that directly plugs into the existing watercooling tubes that come with the boats. Good motors to use are the Hacker E10-36L, Robbe Roxxy 1230/20 or the BA BL1230 4200kv from Hobbyking. Don´t use higher kv motors than about 4500kv as higher is increasingly unefficient, better go for larger props or more voltage if you want more speed. I´ve tried 6 different motors so far and my best result were with the Hacker E10-36L on a 3S Lipo with 350mah. Don`t try to use this without the watercooling connected or your motor will be dead within a minute! You will need a single M2 screw to hold the motor in place. The Strong and Flexible material is NOT watertight when you get it from Shapeways, but you only need to paint it with some acrylic paint or epoxy resin to make it watertight.
