3125 Scale Probr Brass Frigate (FF) MGL

The Omega Octant is east of the Alpha Octant empires seen in the Star Fleet Universe (beyond the Inter-Stellar Concordium), on the other side of a galactic void. That void is a dead zone where life is impossible and ships fall apart, marking a separation between Octants.  The Probr are a species of salamander-like amphibians that were the product of a genetic engineering experiment by another species known only as THEM. The Probr revolted, killing all of THEM. The Probr Revolution stayed out of the First Great War, but joined the fray during the Maesron Collapse to become one of the Four Superpowers. Probr ships are built from a combination of one of more of the "basic hulls" and various wings are added on. The ships are armed with quantum phasers, plasma-like HEAT torpedoes, and target accentuators.

The Probr Brass frigate used the same pair of small wings as the Bronze destroyer, but with a smaller central hull. The ship was too small to be armed with both high-energy accceptance torpedoes and a target accentuator, leading the Probr to field either "line" frigates (armed with a pair of HEATs) or "acccentuation" frigates (equipped with a couple of TAs instead). The Probr would later develop escort and fast patrol ship tender variants of this hull type.

The ship is available in a variety of materials. Ships are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
