Product Description
This is a set of Front and Rear PA12 3D printed split shock towers for the Schumacher Mi8 Touring Car.
Direct bolt onto the stock bulkheads. You can use the existing 3mm screws.
We recommend slowly threading all the screw holes prior to shock installation. 3D printing is durable but we recommend a small amount of black grease on the screws while threading in.
The stock 16mm screws can be used though we reccomend longer 20mm long front and 24mm long rear screws be used. This will allow for more thread engagement and less prone to damage under impacts.
No shims roughly equaly second hole up on stock towers. Thin alloy shims can be used to fine tune shock angles. More shims = less angle tend to soften the feel of the shock riding more on the rate of the spring.
Rear will need the stock shock tower to be used for body mounts. We are working on alternative pieces for this but for now we recommend another stock rear cf shock mount. Using a dremel you can cut the center section out making two seperate pieces. This would also allow a uncut stock one to be used for additional bracing as a tuning option.
