Product Description
In my story, Frehr Falko is an eccentric inventor.  His constant creation of quirky gadgets seemed almost neurotic, and delayed construction of his airship for years.  This rickety-looking craft is known as a plane-balloon, which may look like a hybrid of a dirigible and very early aeroplane, though it predates aeroplanes on Rossbera by several decades.  Plane-balloons, the direct descendents of sail-plane-balloons and the earlier sail-balloons, were the home-built aircraft of their day, as they were far more useful than simple hot-air balloons.  Frehr built his vessel from an old yacht, taking advantage of the available space for provisions and fuel.  Sadly, this quaint little airship was short-lived.  Frehr's first voyage was to transport the Grand Duchess of Alexandria, Rubina Karamazova, from Trenatia to Seremtis, Kantossa, a 7700-km journey.  After Rubina's already ill-fated expedition, she hastily enlisted Frehr for her return journey as well.  However, because of the route Rubina chose to take for the return voyage, the airship was intercepted and shot down by the Zaphnora.  Frehr alone perished in the crash, and the airship was left beyond repair.
