The 2 ton wagons had very long careers - being introduced in 1957 and still in use in the 60s. There were many repairs carried out overt he years and one common theme was the replacement of the original T beam spines with new ones made from lengths of old rail. This necessitated new couplings and a rejig of some of the underframe bracing. 

This model accurately reflects these changes. Use Axleboxes AB01 or AB02, and couplings CPL07. The couplings will need to be attached with M1 or 14BA hex head nuts and bolts. Alternateively see FRC11 for a model with integral functional couplings.
