Lotus Elise Series 2 - 2DIN Faceplate - mk1 mod2

The Lotus Elise Series 2 was only ever equiped with a single DIN radio and no commercial kit has ever been put to market (to my knowledge).

This is one of two center console pieces necessary to convert the single DIN radio to slot into a 2DIN slot.

You will need to buy a radio seperately!
(I reccomend somthing similar to the alpine ilx-207 as the AC vents still cause some interference with older full size radios.) I am not advertising or recomending a particular radio or brand only stating the radio I used.

NOTES:
 1.  have installed this on my 2006 Series 2 and know it will work.
2. The mounting plate, I used from a Tesla Roadster 2.0 (good luck getting one, it took an act of God and 6 months for me) I have however used it as a template for the and it should match up with very minor adjustment if any. (see CAD screenshots)
3. 3D printing  is available in a wide varieties of collors and finishes. Smoother finishes are more expensive. Please be aware, while I have made less expensive materials available, I do not reccomend them and highly advise going with the higher quality fnish.
4. As of yet, there are no available 3d printed materials that exactly match the plastic found in the Elise, you can expect some minor color mismatch. It is however possible to do touchup work to the plastic parts once received and alter it to your preference.
