Proxima Centauri system & Jupiter to scale.

This is a model of Proxima Centauri to scale with its known Terrestrial planet (Proxima Centauri b)

Proxima itself is actually a tiny sun, the relation between the two being closer to Jupiter - Earth rather than Sun - Earth. As such in order to further provide a size refference point, a Jupiter globe to scale is also provided. 

The tiny terrestrial planet itself is coloured as having a clear day & night side. This is a refference to the fact that Proxima Centauri b is almost certainly tidal locked to its parent star, thus having an eternal "day" and "night" side. 

The scale of this set is 1 to 2 billion.
