GER 1860s Carriage Lamp Tops

7mm/ft 1:43.5 and based upon Sinclair's GER designs of the 1860s for oil lamp tops. Sufficient parts are provided to enable twelve lamp tops, each comprising two parts, to be constructed. The builder will need to add a representation of the latch and wire used to retain the prototype's removable lid. There appear to have been differing arrangements of the holes around the "chimney" and it is hoped to add these variants to the Off The Rails range in the future.
The base of the lamp top is curved to fit a 30ft radius roof. An 8BA clearance hole is provided through the base and provision is made inside for an 8BA nut to enable the lamp top to be secured to the carriage roof.
