Cost reduction: Hollow, 2mm wall thickness, 1 escape hole in the rear of the pod at the end and two aditional holes hidden on the top and bottom of the front structure.

This is the Son'a Collector Ship from "Star Trek: Insurrection", also known as Son'a Science Vessel. It has the collector sails folded in and their hatches closed. John Eaves says, that the size changed back and forth several times through the production of "Insurrection". There were multiple sizes between 2 miles (ca. 3219m) and 4000ft (ca. 1219m). In the end it was used a length of something just above 4000ft for the beginning of the movie, but when the Enterprise flies over the exploding vessel it seems closer to the 2 miles figure.
Note: In contrast to my 1/20000 version, where I used an original length of 1524m from the design sketch by John Eaves, I decided to use 1254m here, as stated on ex-astris-scientia.org. This figure is most likely the size mentioned by John Eaves used for the movie in the first scene. Whith this original size, the miniature is small enough to fit into the printer for Processed Versatile Plastic and keeps the price a bit lower.
