1:120 - KFZ. 31 AMBULANCE
Overview
This is a scalemodel of the German 'Kfz 31', a sturdy ambulance also known as 'Sanka/Sankra' (Sanitaets Kraftwagen) for 1:120 TT model railroads. The vehicle was based on the Horch 108 typ a1 chassis and was most used as an ambulance (Krankenkraftwagen) but sometimes modified as an amplifier car (Kfz. 24 - Verstärkerkraftwagen).
Features
The model is designed to be printed in 2 parts;
- (1x) Main vehicle
- (1x) Sprue with roof, spare tires, seats, driver...
- Model is based on blueprints to maximize accuracy.
Painting
Before painting, always degrease your model in a glass of lukewarm water and a drop of dishwashing soap (do not use a dishwasher!). Allow it to dry completely before painting.
Aplie a thin layer of paint, use 'drybrush' techniques to bring the detail alive. Paint the inside and figures first before gluing. If you don't have a lot of experience; watch multiple 'tutorials' on youtube about painting model vehicles. You can't rush art, so take your time to finish the model ;).
