This High-Gain Antenna (HGA) article is primarily for models of the NASA Voyager-1 and Voyager-2 Outer Solar System Spacecraft, and for the NASA Magellan Venus Spacecraft. Scale is approximately 1:30 for compatability with the SCI Voyager Kit (http://spacecraftkits.com/Voyager.html). This article includes the parabolic main reflector with sun-sensor hole, feedcone, tripod, subreflector, and low-gain antenna at the top. On the SCI Voyager and Magellan kits, it replaces six paper parts as well as one expanded polystyrene part. It can also be used on the free-downloadable Cassini model (
https://solarsystem.nasa.gov/resources/354/cassini-advanced-paper-model/)> Although slightly different from Voyager and Magellan HGAs, this item has the same scale and general appearance of the correct Cassini HGA.
Typically, for model-making, a Cassegrain HGA such as this article is a complex and difficult thing to fabricate. This article does very well, and looks fine as part of basically any model spacecraft.
