Product Description
This is a small Spur Gear Cover to protect your body shell from larger spur gears when using the CTE RC 3 gear laydown V2 or 3 gear layback transmissions. Note this only works with the V2 version of the 3 gear laydown. The original (January 2019 or earlier) did not have provision for this. It is designed for spur gears up to 80t in size.
To fit, simply remove the spur gear cover spacer as supplied with your RH Gearcase, and replace with this part, sandwiching it between the gear case and ilder. It will overhang the spur gear for added protection.
If you want more protection for your drivetrain there is a large version which fully encircles the exposed parts of the spur gear (http://shpws.me/R6Jr) and has the option to add a front cover as well.
