Pullman 6 Wheel Bogie-Triang/Hornby Fit

BETA Model as it has not been tested over all radius points.

Originally developed it to replace the four wheeled bogies provided with the long Hornby/Triang Pullman Brake coach (now in the Hornby Railroad range)  so that I could make a representation of the 12 wheeled brake used on the Torbay Pullman. Although they could also be used on the Parlour Car as an alternative to add some variety.


However, the bogie is not designed to fit the newer Hornby Pullmans with working table lights.


It is designed to use the original 12mm  metal wheels (although an extra set will be needed for each bogie. On more recent versions, the original bogies just pull og the chassis and these replacements are a simple push fit into the chassis. However, older models have a different bogie fitting and a brass rivit will have to be drilled out carefully. Once this has been done, the bogies can be push fitted in the same way as the more recent models

The bogie also comes with nem pockets to allow alternative couplings to be fitted. However, they will not work with the Hornby Close Coupling (ROCO type) and I have yet to test them with the narrow tension lock.
