Flower Ring

Everytime I wear this ring, I get stopped and asked about it. People want to buy it from me already worn, but you should get your own..... The design is a Catmull Clark topology applied to a sphere. Topological optimization is a way to design the most efficient structures, and this Catmull & Clark algorithm was made for compression of animation and movies.  I think it looks like a high tech flower bud and sometimes that is the easier answer to "what is it?"
