This is the Insignia Class from the "Ships of the Line 2016" calendar. This ship is inspired by a drawing in the "Star Trek The Next Generation Technical Manual", where it depicts a possible successor to the Galaxy Class, along with three other concepts. They are called early concepts for a Nova Class starship there. Well, as we know this name had gone to a different vessel now. This particular design is described as a modular concept with wedge shaped modules on the saucer that can easily be replaced as mission demands change and new technology becomes available.
