Width of the loading crane base unit  (between vertical flat side plates) is 62 mm (= Tamiya chassis)
Some components (base, support leg and third beam) have spaces incorporated for typical (rectangular) 6 / 12 V DC electric motors with spindle axes

(most required to have a 50+ mm length, one is needed with 100 mm).
Low positioned on the inside of the Sub Frame model a set of gears provide a reduction of 3:1 between the drive motor and the column unit.

Note:
All components are thin walled (with local reinforcement ribs) to keep overall costs low. Creation of the crane was aimed at being a functional model with cheap 6/12V spindle drive motor units or other various means of powering the beams (there was no focus on lifting ability of the model).
Ps: tilting capacity of the crane in the YT vid  is 250 gr. (tilt currently limited by the low electric motor capacities). After futur motor upgrade a new vid will be published
