I present my digital patterned tritium lantern, for use with five 3x22.5mm tritium vials (vials not included).
This model has been scaled for printing in stainless steel, but can be printed in most materials.
The attachment hole is large enough for paracord, gate clips and the largest of split rings.
The tritium vials should be set using a UV activated optically clear adhesive such as Norland 61 or Loctite glass bond. These adhesives will cure in direct sunlight in an hour or so.
Before gluing, please ensure that all the vials fit loosely into the lantern body together and that there are no tight spots. Due to potential irregularities in the printing process, some gentle drilling or filing may be required on the tritium vial channel, to ensure an unobstructed fit of the vial, into the lantern.
I have a few tritium lanterns, in stainless steel, silver and bronze, available from my Etsy shop. Please contact me if you would like an assembled lantern that is or is not present on Etsy.
There are some more photos of this object and other examples of my work, both 3D printed and otherwise, on my 'Tofty' facebook page.
