Product Description
Marie de la Cordelière was a 1000-tonne French carrack, built in 1505, and best known for exploding during the Battle of St. Mathieu and taking Henry VIII's flagship, the HMS Regent, down with her in 1512.  I took my original model of the ship and blew a few holes in it, as well as shredding the sails, trying to replicate the portrayal of the ship's demise as depicted in several famour paintings.  On the 1/350 and 1/500 scale options, there is a large hollow space on the bottom of the model, and the hole in the main deck makes for an ideal access for small fish (though, admittedly, even the 1/350 scale option may be a wee bit small for a fish tank).  This ship has her name embossed on the transom, but it will likely be completely undiscernable except on the 1/350 scale option.
