Product Description
These marker lights have been designed so that a HO Trainorama NSWGR 44 Class diesel electric locomotive model can be back dated to the original marker lights used.
Installation Instructions
The existing rectangular front and rear marker ligths are to be removed.
The surface where the front marker lights were must be smoothed and painted to match the body colour. The position of the front marker lights is as per the photo, mark the position with a sharp point and drill with a 1mm drill. The front marker lights are curved to match the nose curvature. There is a flat on the top of the shaft indicating the top of the marker.
The rear marker lights are to be mounted in a 2.5mm hole drilled in the centre of the circular plates on the rear wall of the rear cab. Note that there is a rear left and right hand marker light, refer to the photograph.
If the surface of the marker light lens is whitish from the printing support material then carefully scrap away the white on the lens surface and once clean, apply a little ACC Super Glue or clear gloss lacquer to make the lens clear. Surface mount LEDs (SMD) may be used to light the marker lights.
