Product Description
The first of many ships I intend to make with a clipper hull. This side-wheel steamship is fairly typical of mid-19th century passenger liners, and also some cargo ships. This type of ship is a very similar type and size to the SS Central America, but with a number of notable differences (only two masts, for a start). I didn't intend to replicate any historical design with this model, I was mainly playing around with some new design methods.
The small variant is approximately 1/1070 scale, in order to make the model 86mm long.
The medium variant is 1/700 scale.
