Product Description
It's FINALLY ready. The truss for the HD version of the Redcat Portal Axles on the Gen8 and Gen7 upgrade kit.
This piece ties the shock mounts and upper link mount spot together with a metal truss. This will make the stock axles as tough as they're going to get all but eliminating axle flex.
You'll need some longer screws and nuts to install. The links will mount on the outside of the truss, widening them a little. This should also help with side hilling.VATERRA M3 x 30mm Cup Point Set Screw works well for the shock mounts.
Shapeways states a +/- 5% tolerance so some minor sanding may be necessary. We've done a lot of metal parts and shapeways usually nails the dimensions. The 20 day lead time is usually about 2x what it takes. In all of our orders we've only had one take longer than 10 days from order to ship.
