Unfortunately one of our vendors responsible for fulfilling Matte Full Color Sandstone is ceasing to offer this finish effective immediately. This means we will have to discontinue Matte Full Color Sandstone indefinitely until alternative production arrangements can be made.
Any orders currently in production will be shipped, however, we are unable to take new orders for this finish. Natural, Natural Full Color, and Glossy Full Color Sandstone will still be available for purchase.
We understand this is a surprise - it was to us as well - and apologize for the timeliness of this message. If you have questions about our other Sandstone finishes or other materials available at Shapeways, please contact

As a result of this vendor changing their offering, we anticipate some impact to the full-color 3D printing market as a whole. We will do our best to mitigate that impact to you all and will communicate as we have more information if we need to make any additional changes to our material offerings.
