Started using the new Blender 2.8 release .. Does this version export mesh models in blenders strange size system like 2.79 . Havent tried in awhile but as I recall the blender size were 3 blender units came to like 5 inches in printing mersures Looked for some kind of size but so far didn't find any so far might be there not sure under or were to look file formats from blender still ………."STL" general...…"ORXL" for basic color ? or "OBJ"
Yes, it's still weird. And I still don't understand why "export stl > selection only" isn't the default and that you have to check that box every time. Who wants to export every single mesh in their blend file as one stl? No one. My 2.8 stls have been a factor of 1000x too small when imported into NetFabb, even when I use cm as units and apply the scale. Just another one of those odd Blender bugs, errr, "features." It's nonsensical that the scale set isn't carried through to the exported stl, but this is the way it was with the versions before 2.8 also.
