About
At the base of Indium 99 lies friendship. As best friends, we—Yorick van de Riet and Harro van Duijn—wanted to start a business. That was our starting point.
While enjoying a craft beer we were brainstorming on potential concepts for a startup. Many ideas crossed the table, though the golden idea came from a present which Harro gave to his former girlfriend for her birthday. He wanted to give her something truly unique, which he did by designing a pendant using 3D-software, after which he got it made in silver. With this the foundations for Indium 99 were born.
Many hours and the strong combination of Yorick’s wide knowledge of business, sales and marketing and Harro’s skills in design, marketing and communication have made it possible for this basis to be made into what Indium 99 is today. The first sale, packaging, website and social media channels; we wanted to do everything ourselves, and up until now, we have.
